A Modest Sized Patio to take in the Surrounds

We carved a social gathering nook into a very gradual hill with the perfect amount of drop for a retainer at seat height. This is my favorite thing to do, and that is to create a flat space and retain the uphill side with a seatwall. Doing so tucks you into the landscape. It makes usable space that was previously avoided, gets you moving and engaging outside of the confines of your home, and it adds value to your asset. I am looking forward to planting this area.
